CREATIVE ASSOCIATE
I am a creative associate with SBC and I am a Coventry-based theatre maker and poet. I am Assistant Director on SBC’s Can You Hear Me, Now? for Coventry City of Culture 2021. My work is driven by a passion for social integration and community engagement through collective creation and ensemble work. I have worked with a variety of different communities in Coventry like GAPA and Foleshill Creates. I have participated in Coventry Welcomes Festival as the lead facilitator for a group of sanctuary seeking women. I am also interested in performance poetry and I have co-produced different open-mics and poetry reading events around Coventry including at The Box at Fargo Village. Lastly, I am a performer myself and will be taking part in BBC's Contains Strong Language 2021.
