ASSOCIATE PRODUCER
I started working with SBC in 2020 after seeing Where We Began in Hull. I am fluent in Arabic and passionate about making work that is accessible and far reaching.
I am a producer who has worked with touring companies Northumberland Theatre Company/The Bijli Project and Theatre Company Blah Blah Blah, where I performed in a facilitative role to work with children from a range of backgrounds, including refugees. I joined Absolutely Cultured as trainee producer on the Hull Independent Producer Initiative, working alongside nationally renowned arts organisations to provide producing support to local emerging artists. I produced Hull Takeover for Absolutely Cultured, in partnership with Hull Truck Theatre, Back to Ours, and Middle Child Theatre. I am now the Programming Officer for Hull Culture and Leisure.
