WE WANT YOU!

We are looking for creative people in Coventry, who have experience of immigration, to join our Performance Making programme.

We are Stand and Be Counted, the UK’s first Theatre Company of Sanctuary and we would love you to join our exciting, creative workshops designed for you to have your say! Together we will explore performance techniques, practise English and build confidence in a fun and friendly group.

We will co-create an adventurous performance, Can You Hear Me, Now? for Coventry 2021 and Refugee Week, to be performed at Swanswell Park on the 20th of June. You do not need any previous performance experience and there will be translators and child care at every session.

Join us to learn new skills, share ideas and make your mark! 

May - sessions are online every Tuesday 12-2pm

June - sessions are in person at The Belgrade Theatre every day, you are welcome to attend any amount of sessions that suits you.

Social distancing and full safety precautions will be in place throughout.
