Nadia Emam

I am a facilitator, film, and theatre director based in Sheffield. I was part of the first Bank Cohort at Sheffield Theatres and am an Associate Artist for NSDF, Grimm & Co, as well as a Creative Mentor with Screen Yorkshire. I moved into film through poetry and collaboration with local artists, which led to funding for my first short film from BFI NETWORK. Since then, I’ve been experimenting with both documentary and fiction, while also supporting community-led film projects. I’m thrilled to be part of Team SBC.
